"This truck provides our customers with the perfect vehicle to share in the celebration of our anniversary," said Paul L Vikner, Mack executive vice-president of sales and marketing. "While giving drivers the ultimate in comfort and styling, we also are confident that the vehicle will go a long way in ensuring productivity, reliability, and performance for the owner."

Available in 70-inch mid-rise-with polished fuel tanks and quarter fenders-and 70- and 80-inch high-rise configurations, the 100th Anniversary Edition Vision from Mack will satisfy a variety of over-the-road requirements. The 80-inch high-rise design is one of the largest sleeper boxes on the highway, with more than 64 cubic feet of storage space.

The anniversary edition Vision is available with Eaton Fuller transmissions, including the Top 2 and AutoShift. The vehicle also is loaded with low-maintenance and long-life components, such as preset hubs, lubed-for-life drivelines, and air-conditioning monitoring systems.

Combined with the Mack V-MAC electronic vehicle management and control system and sophisticated data management tools like InfoMaxrm PC software, the DataMax on-board data logger, and the new VIP driver information display, Vision has proven it has the electronic tools necessary to improve efficiency and productivity.

"With only 500 of these 100th anniversary special edition Vision models set for production, owners and operators will indeed be in select company," Vikner said.
