Lite-Check upgrades Inspector software

A new version of the software that powers Lite-Check's Inspector, a computer-driven trailer tester for air, lighting, and ABS controllers, has been released.

A new version of the software that powers Lite-Check's Inspector, a computer-driven trailer tester for air, lighting, and ABS controllers, has been released. The new Inspector software, version 8.2, has been enhanced with the ability to retrieve mileage information from trailer ABS controllers.

An Inspector running this newsoftware release will retrieve odometer readings from trailer ABS controllers manufactured by Haldex, Wabco, and Bendix. For all Inspector and Model 910B testers currently operating with software version 8.0 or higher, this new release is a direct software upgrade. For Lite-Check 910B testers currently running software version 7.xx or older, electrical upgrades may be necessary prior to installation of this new release.

All 910B and Inspector 910B testers produced since 1995 can be upgraded to operate with this latest software release. Testers sent in to be upgraded to support version 8.2, and older testers renewedthrough the Inspector refurbishment program, will have the internal system modernized, and will be returned functionally identical to a newly purchased Inspector.

The Inspector includes full air management, computer-aided electrical system inspection, and multi-manufacturer ABS ECU support in a single tool appropriate for service truck and shop service bay applications.
