Labelmaster is accepting orders for the new 2010 edition (35th amendment, two-volume set) of the International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) Code, which is a requirement for all watercrafts shipping dangerous goods/hazmat in international waters. This amendment is effective January 1, 2011 with full force of the rules Jan 1, 2012. First published in 1965, this year’s edition of the IMDG Code features:

•New markings for shipping limited quantities
•Substantial changes to the Dangerous Goods List
•Updated recommendations for the training needs of shore-side personnel The IMDG Code includes detailed requirements for labeling, markings, documentation, and training provisions for articles defined as dangerous. It also includes packaging requirements for each article, as well as testing procedures for large and small packages. The IMDG Code is sold separately at $235 for the two-volume, perfect-bound set; and electronically (USB drive or CD) for $320.
