Kinder Morgan Energy Partners LP (KMP), Houston TX, has acquired three terminals from The Boswell Oil Company for $20 million in cash.

The terminals are located in Cincinnati OH, Pittsburgh PA, and Vicksburg MS.

KMP now owns over 30 drybulk terminals, which transload more than 50 million tons annually of coal, petroleum coke, soda ash, cement, and other materials. It also owns more than 40 liquids terminals, which have a storage capacity of over 50 million barrels for petroleum products and chemicals.

The terminal in Cincinnati handles both liquids and dry-bulk materials, such as No 6 oil, salt, and other aggregates. The facility in Pittsburgh also handles both liquids and dry-bulk materials. The terminal in Vicksburg is a break-bulk facility, primarily handling paper products and steel products.
