J J Keller & Associates Inc has introduced Hazard Perception Challenge II, its second interactive video program designed to capture drivers' attention and enlist their active participation in building hazard-perception skills.

Hazard Perception Challenge II teaches hazard perception through a series of brief scenarios, each followed by a “what-did-you-see/what-would-you-do” challenge question. Drivers are given limited time to think about the scenarios presented and record their answers on test sheets before moving on to the next challenge, forcing them to think fast — as in real life. The scenarios cover highway driving, adverse weather, backing, passing, distracted driving, city driving, night driving, common vehicle maneuvers, merging, and security.

The 60-minute video is broken into five segments of about 12 minutes each. Along with the video, the program includes a trainer's guide that provides tips, training techniques, presentation options, and an answer key that covers each scenario. The program also includes 10 driver test sheets, 10 driver certificates, and 10 driver skill cards.

Hazard Perception Challenge II is available for $199 by phoning 800-327-6868. Callers should reference Action Code 1523 when ordering.
