Horton Inc has included new applications for the VMaster viscous air-sensing fan drive, including Freightliner, Mack, International, and Ford/Sterling trucks.

Specific applications include Freightliner's Sprinter trucks with 2500- and 3500-type Mercedes engines, Freightliner trucks with Cummins ISB or ISC and Cat 3126 engines, Mack trucks with Mack engines, International trucks with International 16 engines, and Ford/Sterling trucks with Cummins ISC and Cat 3126 engines.

The VMaster is a pulley-mounted fan drive designed for heavy-, medium-, and light-duty trucks and off-highway equipment. It has a precision bimetal sensor that automatically adjusts fan speed based on air temperature from the engine's heat exchanges. The fan operates at optimum speed, cooling only when needed.

The fan drive is lightweight and modular, with a fully sealed design. VMaster is compatible with Horton's WindMaster Fan, as well as fans from other manufacturers.
