Fradulent CDL uncovered by tank truck carrier

A man with a fradulent Florida commercial driver license (CDL) attempted to gain employment at a tank truck carrier in the southeastern United States recently, according to information from the National Tank Truck Carriers (NTTC). The trucking company is an NTTC member.

The applicant presented the Florida CDL number B300-061-81-343-0, using the name Bilal Ahmed Bhutta. He also had a Social Security card with the notation, "Valid for work only with Immigration and Naturalization Service authorization INS." (INS is now known as the Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services and is in the Department of Homeland Security.) At the time of the interview, the applicant showed interest in the types of product hauled by the carrier.

Anyone who encounters an individual using this identification should not take direction action, but report the incident to the local FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force office, or to other appropriate authorities.
