A UPT driver for 10 years, he has accumulated nearly 4.2 million miles during his career. Schneider National Inc has named Dan Van Alstine senior vice-president of sales. With more than 25 years of transportation and logistics experience, Van Alstine most recently served as area vice-president at Schneider's headquarters in Green Bay WI.
CTL Distribution Inc, a division of Comcar Industries, has added Jack Snively as vice-president of sales. He will be based at the general office in Mulberry FL. Since 1989, Snively has worked with Oceanic, a manufacturer of scuba diving equipment, as its southeastern sales manager.
Trifleet Leasing has announced that Christian Merle Bijitch has joined the company's Houston-based US office, and will replace Olaf Gayko as Trifleet's regional manager for North and South America upon Gayko's departure in February. Bijitch has several years of experience in the tank leasing industry.
First Fleet Corp has promoted Irene Kessler to senior vice-president-operations. She most recently was chief information officer and vice-president of operations. First Fleet has promoted Peter J Flynn to senior vice-president — Lease Origination Group and appointed him to the Management Group. He previously served as vice-president — portfolio/pricing since May 2003.
