Mack Canada Inc announced that the Mack Manitoba distributorship has delivered the first Vision DayCab model sold in Canada to an owner-operator based in Winnipeg.

The customer, Jim Webber, pulls a tandem feed trailer and hauls animal feed in Manitoba and North Dakota for Feedrite in Winnipeg.

A recent addition to the Mack product line, the Vision DayCab comes in tractor and straight truck versions in 4×2 and 6×4 configurations. Among its features are greater overall visibility, improved storage space, new mirror offerings, and improved headlamp performance, together with new contemporary styling. Powering the Vision DayCab is the highway version of Mack's new ASET (Application Specific Engine Technology) engine family, which uses cooled exhaust gas recirculation and variable geometry turbocharging to meet United States Environmental Protection Agency emissions requirements.
