The first trucks for customer delivery and dealer stock rolled off the assembly line at the new Autocar LLC production facility in Hagerstown IN recently. Autocar said it was the first time in 50 years that Autocar trucks are being built in the company's own production facility.

First off the line were Xpeditor WXLL64 trucks being delivered to Heil Environmental Industries Ltd of Chattanooga TN, and a WXR64 right-hand-drive model that will go into dealer stock in West Palm Beach FL.

The Heil truck is one of six that will be outfitted with the new Heil MultiPack refuse collection vehicle body to become part of the Heil Ready Truck program.
