BAY State Truck & Trailer Inc, Rehoboth, Massachusetts, is the winner of the Heil Trailer International's 2006 Going the Extra Mile Service Award.

Erik Hoskins, Bay State sales manager, and Jack Hoskins Jr, Bay State service manager, received the award from Brian Mueller, Heil vice-president, sales and marketing, at the National Tank Truck Carriers 2006 Cargo Tank Maintenance Seminar in Nashville, Tennessee.

Finalists in the competition were Talman Tank & Equipment Co, Tampa, Florida; Hy-Tec Inc, Lancaster, Pennsylvania; Werts Welding & Tank Service, Wood River, Illinois; Stuart Tank Sales Corp, Elkhorn, Wisconsin; Pneumatic Technology Inc, Trophy Club, Texas; and The Jack Olsta Co, Huntsville, Texas.

The service award is presented to the distributor with the highest overall customer satisfaction rating as measured by a survey sent to end users upon receipt of their new vehicle warranty registration. The survey includes 18 questions covering dealer service, product presentation, and overall satisfaction with the purchase experience. All questions are weighted equally giving each distributor equal opportunity to win.

Each of four crystal columns on the award trophy represents one of Heil's brand pillars: history of excellence, innovate products and service, a rich culture of building strong relationships, and providing superior service.
