EXSIF Worldwide Inc, Purchase, New York, has acquired tank container management agreements from TPI Equipment Management Ltd. EXSIF Worldwide is a member of The Marmon Group, an international association of autonomous manufacturing and service companies with collective annual sales of more than $6.5 billion.

The transferred agreements cover TPI's managed equipment fleet and ancillary units totaling 3,300 ISO tank containers and tank chassis. These are leased to international chemical companies and tank logistic operators specializing in bulk liquid transportation and storage. The deal enhances EXSIF Worldwide position in the intermodal tank leasing market and the company's long-term commitment to the chemical industry, according to EXSIF information.

With regional offices in Houston, Texas; Versailles, France; and Singapore, Malaysia, and sales offices in Hamburg, Germany; London, England; Tokyo, Japan; Sydney, Australia; and Shanghai, China, EXSIF Worldwide will have a combined tank container and chassis fleet of more than 27,000 units. The fleet comprises an extensive range of units suitable for the transportation and storage of hazardous and potable liquids including gases.

The tank fleet will be fully integrated into EXSIF Worldwide global operating infrastructure during January 2002.
