I have been in the tank truck business since 1975, and you are right on in your assessment (MBT April 2004 editorial, page 6: “Driver shortage means opportunity”). We must, as an industry, push this issue while the shortage is acute. The shippers have heard this story for years, but we have not acted. Now is the time.
