Distribution Technologies Inc (DistTech) recently opened an expanded terminal in Ironton OH.
The new 9,300 square-foot facility at 1714 Back Road in Franklin Furnace replaced a smaller, outdated terminal on County Road 400 in Ironton. In addition to a three-bay shop, the building includes a drivers' room complete with showers and an exercise space.
The terminal earned the Sunoco Inc Transportation Group Carrier of the Facility Award for the manufacturer's Haverhill OH plant. This marks the fifth consecutive year that Sunoco has honored DistTech with a service award, based on safety and service performance to Sunoco's customers throughout the year. The criteria includes outstanding on-time delivery, on-time loading, and load acceptance.
