Diesel price drops 1.6 cents

The average cost of diesel was less last week by 1.6 cents per gallon from the week before, according to Department of Energy (DOE) information released March 27. The average price was reported at $2.565 per gallon.

The week before the price was $2.581 per gallon. The prices fell across the country, including the East Coast, New England, Central Atlantic, Lower Atlantic, Midwest, Gulf Coast, Rocky Mountains, West Coast, and California.
