The average retail price for on-highway diesel rose 11.1 cents to $2.876 per gallon last week, according to information reported April 24 by the federal Energy Information Administration. The price for the preceding week was $2.765 per gallon.
The increase from a year ago totals 58.7 cents per gallon.
