TSMA Spring Conference will convene in Arizona

The Transportation Sales & Marketing Association (TSMA) announces its 2002 Spring Conference, set for April 21-24, 2002, at the Sheraton El Conquistador Resort in Tucson AZ. The theme for this conference is “Gearing up for Results: Creating a Roadmap to a High-Performance Culture.”

The conference will officially open Monday, April 22, with the president's remarks and keynote speaker and seminar. Keynote speaker is Joe Calhoon, who will conduct a four-hour mini-seminar on fundamentals of high-performance cultures.

Other highlights of the conference include a chief executive officer panel discussion, with CEOs sharing information about their firm's performance and how they have achieved results consistently better than their competition. Workshops will deal with the “how to's” of creating a roadmap to a high-performance culture and different methods of developing a high-performance sales and marketing team. Roundtable discussions will also covering what industry professionals have done to develop a high-performance culture and their results.

The TSMA Spring Conference also hosts the award ceremony for the Annual Communications Award Competition. This an opportunity for entrants to showcase their company's advertising and marketing talents while competing with similar-size firms from across the United States and Canada.

Countdown to Truck World trade show commences

Truck World, the Canadian trucking trade show, takes place Sept 26-28, 2002, at the National Trade Centre (CNE Grounds) in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Exhibitors will display on more than 400,000 square feet of show floor space.

This show will see the return of a Driver Recruitment Plaza and the Show 'n' Shine competition featuring rigs vying for cash and awards. Truck World also will feature targeted seminars, news conferences, free day-care services, and trucker appreciation.
