Comdata announced that it is processing live customer transactions via its cardless fueling technology, representing an industry breakthrough in cardless fueling. This first transaction occurred at the Love’s Travel Stop in Pauls Valley OK recently.

The Comdata cardless system automates the fueling process and data entry requirements with a cost-effective RFID tag. This allows drivers to spend less time at the pump and reduces the risk of fraudulent transactions by automatically shutting the fuel pump off when the truck pulls away. Comdata clients benefit from the same controls and limits that come with a physical Comdata Card when using the cardless system.

Love’s is near completion of enabling all 292 locations to accept cardless transactions. In addition, Travel Centers of America (TA) is in the process of equipping all of its locations to accept cardless transactions.
