CHEMTREC receives award for excellence

A service of the American Chemistry Council (ACC), CHEMTREC is a round-the-clock public service hotline available to firefighters, law enforcement officials, and other first responders in emergency situations. With links to a large on-call network of chemical and hazardous material experts and more than four million accessible Materials Safety Data Sheets, CHEMTREC provides crucial assistance during incidents ranging from minor to critical.

When CHEMTREC relocated its offices at the end of 2010, continued maintenance and availability of its emergency response technology services was imperative to ensuring that emergency responders worldwide would be able to receive immediate response information for incidents involving hazardous materials and dangerous goods.
