The National Tank Truck Carriers (NTTC) offers a revised 2001 edition of the Cargo Tank Hazardous Materials Regulations book, reflecting all changes in tank truck rules as of July 1, 2001.

This book, which replaces the 2000 edition (#38), is a compilation of all federal hazardous materials and cargo tank regulations. It contains the Department of Transportation specifications for all MC and DOT cargo tanks and for all commodities classified by the DOT as hazardous materials; conversion charts and formulae for converting Fahrenheit to Celsius and vice versa; DOT exemption requirements; testing and retesting requirements; a list of products poisonous by inhalation; a list of average weight per gallon of more than 800 liquids and liquefied gases; a list of Environmental Protection Agency hazardous substances with their reportable quantities; a list of Marine Pollutants; and, addresses of all regional EPA and Federal Highway Administration offices. Also included is a copy of the Hazardous Materials Transportation Uniform Safety Act passed in 1992.
