Breconcherry has now updated its varied range of tank washers to now include ATEX-rated versions of most models. These include the Torus, Turbodisc, and Chemidisc ranges.

The ATEX Directive 94/9/EC, which controls the design of any equipment intended for use in potentially explosive environments, came into effect in July 2003. To comply with the ATEX requirements, any piece of equipment must be designed to minimize risks of ignition when used in such environments.

In order to comply with these new regulations, Breconcherry is now offering product ranges like the Torus, Turbodisc, and Chemidisc with various carbon-filled PTFE components to eliminate any electrostatic risk.
