Bitimec is introducing a new version of its mobile bulk tank wash machine into the United States.
The Bitimec Tank is a 12-year-old workhorse in the firm's five-model stable of vehicle washers. This motorized, walk-around brush machine allows one person to soap, wash, and rinse a full-size bulk tanker in a quarter of the time it takes by hand.
Corrosion has been eliminated by using a stainless steel base and frame. Use of double controls allows the operator to work the machine in two directions with the brush spinning clockwise or counter-clockwise. A patented “brush-only” leaning system allows the operator to lean the brush a full 12 degrees to reach the farthest corners.
The soft feathered brushes can do 80% of the work in 20% of the time. Minor hand finishing can turn around a tanker in a fraction of the time it used to take. The Electric Tank model can be installed in most wash bays with an overhead trolley system to carry the hose and electric cord. In some cases, operators opt to simply run the hose line loose on the ground.
A fully mobile diesel-driven version is also provided. This traction-drive version is totally autonomous, and can carry its own water and optional detergent dispenser. A centrally located drive wheel provides sure-footed traction. Simply pull up to the tanker, and at the push of a button, detergent, water, brush and traction drive are provided.
