Hendrickson's new AR2 converts RT/RTE walking-beam truck suspensions to air ride, delivering a smoother ride and improved durability while reducing weight.

This conversion kit includes two trailing arms, shock absorbers, transverse torque rods, height control valves, air springs, and frame hangers. The existing beam assembly, cross tube, transverse torque rods (if originally required), and longitudinal torque rods remain from the RT/RTE unit.

AR2 also comes in complete assembly kits for use in vocational applications including dumps, refuse, mixers, and military vehicles with capacity ratings of 40,000 to 46,000 pounds.

The heavy-duty trailing arm of the AR2 delivers maximum articulation allowing up to 14" of diagonal wheel articulation to keep weight distributed to all drive wheels. Articulation varies with vehicle weight and configuration.

AR2 air springs constantly adjust to changing road and load conditions. The smoother air ride helps reduce vibration to the vehicle and other on-board equipment, hardware and electronics. Contact Hendrickson, 800 S Frontage Rd, Woodridge IL 60517-4904 for further details.
