It will feature more than 20 educational seminars, panel discussions, and keynote speeches; nearly 3,000 trucking executives and suppliers are expected to attend.

This year's panels include:

  • “All Eyes on the Economy,” an annual highlight, will feature CNBC Wall Street correspondent and anchor David Faber as he moderates American Petroleum Institute chief economist John Felmy, Global Insight chief economist Dr Nariman Behravesh, and ATA's chief economist Bob Costello as they assess the economic outlook, anticipated trucking demand, and capacity issues.

  • “Pandemic Preparedness” will analyze how a pandemic flu outbreak would impact the trucking industry and, ultimately, the nation's economy.

  • “Diesel Fuel Outlook” will highlight the trucking industry's transition to ultra low sulfur diesel fuel, as well as the price, distribution and availability of on-road diesel fuel.

Other topics scheduled to be highlighted at MC&E include litigation risks, security, employee recruitment, finance, and the latest in technology.
