Diesel cost continues to rise

Feb 21, 2007 9:14 AM

The on-road price for ultra low sulfur diesel (ULSD) rose just over a cent last week to $2.515 per gallon. Low sulfur diesel was up almost two cents at $2.437 per gallon, according to information from the Department of Energy (DOE).

Low sulfur on-highway diesel prices at the US level are being provided by DOE for a short period of time because of the small and diminishing number of outlets selling low sulfur diesel after the mandated introduction last year of ULSD.
