Dedicated Transport buys Baker's Transport

Dedicated Transport LLC, Cleveland OH, has acquired Baker's Transport Service of Lakeland FL, a bulk truck service to water treatment and power generating plants.
Dedicated Transport will retain Baker's management and the company's 20 drivers and has plans to hire an additional 10 drivers over the next year.
Frank Wagner, president and chief executive officer of Dedicated Transport, said the acquisition "fits our Southeastern growth strategy, which calls for Dedicated Transport to acquire a number of mid-size trucking companies over the next few years."
